Situated at the top of a pear orchard, Orchards View is a welcoming, comfortable farm cottage with beautiful wooden features inside and out. The house extends its living space with many big windows and double doors by opening up on the lawn and orchard.Guests will have access to the ground floor of the house, including the back garden and the front lawn.The roosters, hens and rabbits add to the country feeling that Orchards View has to offer.

The space

Each bedroom is en suite and faces onto Dassenberg, Mont Rochelle Wine Estate and horse paddocks.
The open plan living room/kitchen has spectacular views of the Franschhoek Mountains.
The front patio lends itself to relaxing watching the sun rise over the mountains or sipping sundowners as the mountains reflect the glows of the setting sun.

Guest access

Guests have use of the entire ground-floor of the house. This consists of the open plan living room and kitchen, as well as the two en suite bedrooms.

Other things to note

Please note that the upstairs verandah is private and for the use of upstairs tenants only. Upstairs is accessed via an external staircase.
All water is fresh from our borehole and stored in tanks, which reaches the house via a pressure pump. Please use water respectfully.
Hot water runs off an electric geyser shared by guests and upstairs tenants.
